Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are a professional American football team based in Detroit, Michigan. They are members of the National Football League (NFL) and compete in the NFC North division. The team was established in 1930 as the Portsmouth Spartans, before relocating to Detroit in 1934 and being renamed the Lions, according to the Detroit Historical Society and Wikipedia. The Lions play their home games at Ford Field in downtown Detroit.
